Coughing, sneezing, itchy eyes, hives, and fatigue are just some of the symptoms that allergy sufferers face. None of the symptoms are any fun. Most treatments whether they are OTC medications, prescription medications, or shots are all designed to lessen the symptoms while doing nothing to treat the cause.

In my 24 years of clinical experience, I have found that the primary CAUSE of allergies, believe it or not, is what a person eats and how they digest their diet. An improper diet for that person and poor digestion of the diet leads to the creation of circulating immune complexes; which act like magnets to bind to allergens (things you are allergic to). Once these circulating immune complexes start traveling through the bloodstream, the body interprets them as a foreign invader. The immune system then goes on the attack releasing histamines (cause runny noses, and itching) to flood the body to get rid of the irritant. Medications like antihistamines stop the normal process of the body and give symptomatic relief, but at a price. That price is two-fold. #1. The body has to process the medication and deal with its side effects. #2. The cause of the allergies are never addressed which is why the patient needs to stay on their medications to control the symptoms.

At our office, we go through a very comprehensive functional digestive test to enable us to see EXACTLY what the patient can and cannot digest. Patients often think they are eating the greatest diet in the world and are digesting their diet properly when in fact they are not. We then change the diet specifically for that patient, based on the test results and recommend the proper safe and natural enzyme supplements so the foods that they eat will no longer form the circulating immune complexes. This addresses the CAUSE of the allergies not just the symptoms.

People who suffer with allergies will come to the office for an initial consultation and preliminary examination. During that time, Dr. Inselman will obtain a complete history where you will discuss your present condition, past history, family history and other pertinent information that will help him to learn about you and your lifestyle. He will also review any tests that you have had performed previously.

The preliminary examination is designed to give Dr. Inselman important clinical information so he can decide what additional testing is needed. The preliminary examination will include a preliminary structural, function, and physical examination. A BIA (Bio-Impedance Analysis) will also be performed.

After the preliminary examination and BIA analysis, Dr. Inselman will review the findings and order any additional tests that are needed to enable him to accurately pinpoint your problem and develop an individualized and specific course of treatment for you.
